Riera Intercultural Consulting
Accompanying change processes in a culturally sensitive way
Madlen Riera Knorrenschild
M.Sc. Business Psychology
Your Coach for all topics related to communication and cooperation
and various stresses and strains at the workplace
What drives me is the insatiable interest in the "becoming" of individuals, organizations and cultures in general. I therefore prefer to live abroad rather than just travel or go directly into the field rather than just read about it. With curiosity, courage and openness, I seek and find a togetherness that becomes more than the mere sum of its parts: something uniquely moving that raises cooperation to an unimagined level. I am a thinker and a doer, inquisitive and creative, combining different methods based on a scientific foundation, always with the aim of developing even more efficient tools.

Work experience
My professional experiences are as diverse and colorful as the cultures on our planet. I have always strived to get to know the world and experience what it has to offer. For this reason, I have never stuck to one particular profession for long and have had the opportunity to get to know different industries such as transport and logistics, tourism and hospitality, advertising and marketing, telecommunications and IT, agriculture, construction and the service sector. With a great desire for change and curiosity, I have held various positions: from polo trainer in Windsor (Sydney) to dispatcher at Zeiss, from quality control of camshafts to working in executive search at Kienbaum. I also gained valuable experience as a manager at Teleperformance/Expedia in Lisbon. However, it was clear to me from the very beginning that I wanted to go my own way. In the end, I found my calling as an intercultural coach. This allows me to immerse myself in foreign worlds without traveling and to use my enthusiasm for foreign countries for the benefit of my clients.
